I'm Hunter Dodge, and I started Brakewater as a Boston-based mechanical design business. I came to mechanical engineering after eleven years leading aviation crews at FAA-regulated facilities, where the consequences of incorrect tolerances, missed inspections, or poor documentation are immediate and real.
That same discipline carries into my CAD work. Brakewater delivers precise, production-ready design solutions, including SolidWorks modeling, AutoCAD 2D/3D drafting, and Fusion 360 CAM programming, supported by hands-on HAAS CNC and FANUC robotics experience.
